
Rae Chambers
Manager
Rae has been the Manager of the charity since April 2022, having re-joined Marches Family Network as the Deputy Manager in December 2020. She had previously been the Accounts Clerk several years ago. She is an accountant who was previously employed at a local primary school as the School Business Manager. Rae hopes that she will be able to combine the experiences of both to manage Marches Family Network office and staff, workers and volunteers.

Meg Chambers
Family Services Co-ordinator and Designated Safeguarding Lead
Meg joined Marches Family Network in 2018, starting as a volunteer and working at our sessions as a youth worker, before becoming the session leader. She started her role as Family Services Coordinator in June 2025, and is the main point of contact for any of our family sessions, family trips or sessions for parent/carers. She can also provide assistance to individual families to help ensure that they are accessing all that they are entitled to.
In her spare time, Meg enjoys taking part in quizzes, crafting and watching the football.

Steve Cameron
Accounts and Payroll Assistant
Steve is a qualified accountant with a wide range of experience. He has worked in Local Government, the NHS and most recently as Bursar for the Aylestone Federation of Schools. Although Steve had taken early retirement he is delighted with the opportunity to work with the Marches Family Network on a part time basis. He hopes to be able to use his financial experience to help them as much as possible. Amongst other things Steve enjoys running, and despite his advancing years he recently completed the London Marathon.

Vicki Hamer
Office Administrator
I’m Vicki and joined the charity in 2024 as Office administrator. I have spent much of my adult life working in administration of one variety or another, including Satellite communications and the retail sector. I am very passionate about being the best I can be in my role and am always striving to improve. I am very proud and passionate to be working for such an impactful and important charity as Marches Family Network and look forward to building good relationships with our families and young people, providing a welcoming and empathetic point of contact.

Lauren Waygood
Session Co-ordinator and Leader
Lauren joined Marches Family Network in 2021, starting as a youth worker before progressing to senior youth worker, and now holds the position of Session Co-ordinator and Leader. Prior to this, she worked as a one-to-one SEN teaching assistant in a local primary school and also supported children as a passenger assistant on school transport.
Lauren is dedicated to developing and co-ordinating sessions that meet the individual needs of children and young people with Special Educational Needs providing them with meaningful opportunities to grow, learn, and thrive.
In addition to leading the sessions, Lauren is the main point of contact in the office for all queries relating to venue and entertainment bookings, resources, registers, and risk assessments.
