Recruitment and Development Officer
We are currently seeking a part time Recruitment and Development Officer to join our small office team in Hereford.
We are looking for an enthusiastic part time Recruitment and Development Officer who has a passion for improving the youth provision within Herefordshire. If you have previous experience of working within a confidential environment, can meet the requirements of the person specification and are a happy working in a small office team, we would love to hear from you.
The post will carry out a wide range of activities including, but not exclusively:
- Managing all aspects of recruiting youth workers and volunteers
- Managing all aspects of training, in particular ensuring training is renewed promptly
- Attending recruitment fairs and careers evenings
- Working independently while being an ambassador for the charity
Flexibility, the ability to work some evenings and weekends and good communication skills are essential.
We offer an enhanced DBS check, high quality training and the chance to develop many valuable transferable skills.
The post is fixed term for one year and the hours for the post are 16 hours per week, but we can be flexible for the right candidate. The salary for 16 hours is £11,513p.a, £13.80 per hour.

Level Up Skills Club Leader
We are looking for an enthusiastic Leader with a genuine passion for enabling all young people to achieve their potential, with good team working and communication skills to run our Level Up Skills Club, for young people age 11 to 25.
Due to a successful funding bid to The National Lottery, we have been awarded funding to run a Level Up Skills Club. This club will give our young people opportunities to meet regularly with other young people with disabilities to take part in social activities and experiences to promote their social skills.
We have funding to run 12 sessions per year across the County, in two bases which will be in Hereford and Leominster. The session will be 2 hours plus time for training, planning, preparation and end of session report writing.
Flexibility, with the ability to work term time evenings and good communication skills are essential.
We offer an enhanced DBS check, high quality training and the chance to develop many valuable transferable skills. Previous experience of working with young people, including those with additional needs is essential.
The hours for each session is 5 per session and the hourly rate is £14.11 plus holiday pay.
